Project Summary: Keville Enterprises, Inc. is providing on-call Construction Management Services as a prime consultant to JEA, Jacksonville’s public utility authority.

JEA is responsible for the operation, maintenance, construction, and repair of all power generation and distribution systems, water treatment plants and distribution systems, sewage treatment plants and distribution systems, and associated commercial facilities within the City of Jacksonville. JEA is in the midst of a $1.4 Billion infrastructure construction and upgrade program to support the City’s Better Jacksonville Plan and other new developments throughout Jacksonville.

KEI's scope of on-call services includes: Construction Management, Inspection, Scheduling, Cost Estimating, Claims and Change Order Analysis, claims avoidance reviews, constructability reviews, and other construction support services. Construction Management and Inspection services include: ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with contract documents; coordinating construction activities with JEA Operations, other City of Jacksonville Departments and Authorities, construction contractors, designers, JEA clients, the traveling public, and all other entities affected by the work; monitoring construction schedules and change orders; reviewing contractor pay requisitions; resolving construction problems; and maintaining orderly and complete document control systems.
 
Under this particular Task Order, Keville provided Contracts Management, Construction Management, Scheduling, and Inspection services for the decommissioning and demolition of the South Side Generating Station. Keville implemented a change order review system which reduced change order expenditures on the project by more than $2 million.
