Construction
Inspection
Since 1991, Keville Enterprises (KEI)
has been serving owners and clients both large and small. KEI
combines a wealth of experience to bring you professional inspection
services that are tailored specifically to you and the needs of the
project.
KEI’s full staff of 100+ construction professionals, including more
than 50 resident engineers/inspectors, stands ready to provide
whatever level of support is needed. Our Resident
Engineers/Inspectors have an average of over 20 years of experience
in the industry. Many of them possess multiple certifications and
have experience in overseeing and inspecting multiple disciplines
including: structural; welding; electrical - both high voltage & low
voltage; traction power; signals; coatings; civil/site; earthwork;
sewer/drainage; utilities; mechanical; geotechnical including slurry
walls, soil mixing, drilled shafts, jet grouting; building
construction and renovation; and many other disciplines. Since many
of KEI’s Inspectors are multi-disciplined, one of our Inspectors can
frequently service more than a single contract, even when different
types of inspections are required, thereby providing efficiencies in
cost and time.
KEI’s Construction Inspectors will perform inspections based on a
proactive, structured, systematic three-phase inspection program,
which will include Preparatory Inspections, Initial Inspections, and
Follow-up Inspections.

Each Construction Inspector on site will prepare a Daily Progress
Report for the work that he/she inspects each day; check that all
designated DBE subcontractors actually perform the work required by
the contract; take periodic progress photos and other special
condition photos as dictated by the work to document actual field
conditions and activities; provide weekly verification that the
General Contractor is maintaining a current set of As-Built Record
Drawings; review the General Contractors’ pay requisitions for
accuracy and verify actual work completed; and ensure that all Daily
Reports, test results, and all other reports, records, and
documentation are maintained in a complete and orderly manner. Our
Construction Inspectors will develop solid professional working
relationships with the contractors’ personnel, working cooperatively
as members of the project delivery team. They will also be
constantly looking ahead to identify and mitigate potential problems
which could adversely affect project costs and project schedules
before they arise.
Specialty Inspections
In addition to our general Construction Inspectors, KEI offers the
added advantage of having a variety of specialty inspectors on staff
to support any specialty needs. Our Specialty Inspectors include AWS
Certified Welding Inspectors, NACE Certified Coatings Inspectors,
High Strength Bolting Inspectors, Power Distribution/Cabling
Inspectors, Signals/Communications Inspectors, and Licensed
Electrical Inspectors. Our specialty inspectors will follow the same
structured, systematic three phase inspection approach as our
general Construction Inspectors, while responding to more
specialized needs.
