Massachusetts Turnpike Authority Construction Inspection Services

Under a two-year, $1M task-order contract, Keville Enterprises, Inc. is providing on-call state-wide Inspection Services for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority on its entire 138-mile roadway system. The project involves quality assurance inspection on various construction and bridge painting projects associated with the Turnpike’s highways, bridges, tunnels, and facilities. The types of work for which inspection services are provided include: Bituminous Concrete, Portland Cement Concrete, Soils, Structural Steel Painting, and miscellaneous construction and repairs on bridges, highways, and tunnels. Our assignment have included the re-construction of a 7-mile section of the Turnpike median between the Route 128 Interchange and the Allston-Brighton Toll Plaza, one of the busiest sections of the Authority’s entire 138 mile roadway system. Work included traffic control, demolition, ductwork, electrical cabling, concrete placement and bituminous paving, most of which is performed off-shift during overnight hours.
